About

You're welcome wherever you're from as long as you adhere to our Code of Conduct - the meetup is in English.

Current schedule is two ~20min talks including Q&A, followed by splitting the audience into smaller groups for virtually hanging out (optional) :)

Main Talk #1 - How to deal with tech debt - Lessons learned from 200+ engineering teams by Alexandre Omeyer

I have interviewed 200 top engineering teams to learn the perfect process to manage technical debt. In this talk, I will share my learnings: tactics, processes, and tools to use when dealing with small, medium, and large pieces of tech debt, and the approach you can take depending on your company’s stage, size, business priorities, and culture. Alex Omeyer is a CEO and Co-founder at Stepsize, a SaaS collaboration tool for engineering teams to manage technical debt. Alex spends most of his time speaking to the best software development teams in the world about how they handle technical debt and sharing this knowledge with the community. Main Talk #2 Catching invisible bugs by Anatoli Makarevich

Hola ☀️

My name is Anatoli, I'm a Lead Engineer from Blinkist and a Maker of SQL Habit. 👋

I'm really excited to share my recent talk "Catching invisible errors" with you.

It's highly inspired by my last 5y with Blinkist. I've seen the company grow from 2 Heroku apps to 20+ microservices and have seen all sorts of errors in my 11y long career.

This talk is an overview of all possible errors your app (webapp/API/mobile app/serverless) can encounter and how to fix all of them, including the hardest type – invisible bugs. 🙀

https://twitter.com/makaroni4 https://github.com/makaroni4 Software Engineer focused on growth. I like design systems in code, AB-tests, behavioral psychology and SQL.
