About

You're welcome wherever you're from as long as you adhere to our Code of Conduct - the meetup is in English.

Current schedule is two ~20min talks including Q&A, followed by splitting the audience into smaller groups for virtually hanging out (optional) :) Main Talk #1 - Seeding Data In Ruby On Rails by Mike Rogers Full Stack Web Developer / Ruby on Rails

Seeding can make a developers experience exponentially better, however it's very rare to find amazing seeds in a project. In this talk I cover why you should use seeds, along with approaches to make seeding easier. Slides Main Talk #2 - Using VCR to Mock Your Requests by Ana Schwendler VCR is a tool that I've been using quite often now to mock test requests. But was a bit tricky to find out how it works, so I want to share the knowledge I've been gathering in the past months to explain a bit about VCR.
