Change or reset password

You can change your existing password to keep your account secure, or you can reset your password in case you forgot it. 

Change your password

To change your Contentful web app password:

1. Open the Contentful web app and go to User profile.

2. Click the Change password button.

3. Type in your current password.

4. Type in the new password.

5. Type in the confirmation for the new password. 

6. Click Save new password.

Forgot password

To reset a forgotten password:

1. Go to https://be.contentful.com/password/new

2. Type in the email you used to sign up  for the Contentful web app.

3. Click Reset password.

4. Check your inbox. Open the reset password email you receive from Contentful. 

5. From the email, click the Reset password button.

6. In the new window that opens, type in the new password. 

7. Then type in the confirmation of the new password.

8. Click Update password.
