What is a release?
A release is a tool that allows you to arrange content in a group to apply bulk actions to it. For example, you can create a release to add to it entries and assets that you want to be published for a Black Friday campaign launch.
You can apply the following actions to a release:
Publish or unpublish - Entries and assets in a release can be published or unpublished all at once with a single click.
Validate - Run validation for all the entries and assets in the release to detect possible errors.
Schedule - Schedule your release for publishing or unpublishing at a specific date and time in the future.
NOTE: For a release to be published, all of its entries must be valid following the validation rules set at an entry level. If at least one of the entries or assets is invalid, the entire release will fail to publish and the published content will remain unchanged.
