About the Tasks app

Tasks gives you the power to assign work to colleagues or teams and ensures your content pipeline flows smoothly across every inch of Contentful — including Compose + Launch.

Adding due dates and surfacing them to assignees keeps content on schedule as it moves across your organization. This makes it easy to prioritize even the most pressing tasks.

Assigning tasks to teams makes it possible to operate a shared service model based on bandwidth or expertise. For example, assigning a task to the Design team rather than a single designer means workloads can be managed more efficiently. Tasks also empowers global organizations and rapidly scaling companies facilitate smoother content handoffs.

Requirements

To use this app, you will need:

• A Contentful Free, Basic, Pro, or Premium plan (or former Enterprise plan using a Performance 1X space or larger). Tasks is not available to customers on the Community or Team plans.
